Hello, friends! Once again, I have nothing super interesting to share (except that I’m exhausted, anyone else?) and I didn’t want to come with another tag … so I remembered I had this Award unsanswered. I think I’ve actually already answered to The Libester Blogger Award before, but the cool thing is, since the questions are always different, it seems like a different post every time. Thank you so much for nominating me, Alex @ Whimsy Pages 😀 I hope you enjoy reading!
1 – Acknowledge the blog who nominated you and display the award.
2 – Answer the 11 questions the blogger gives you.
3 – Nominate 11 blogs.
4- Notify those blogs of the nomination.
5 – Give them 11 questions to answer.
P.S. I actually prefer the idea of reducing the number of nominees / questions to 5 (just like Alex did)
1 – How many books do you own and how do you organise them?
I had to check Goodreads for this but I own 103 books (I know I must have some more, especially old books that I have not listed, but it’s fine). Right now, my shelves are chaotic. I used to have my books by genres, and I even had some shelves dedicated to specific series, but that’s not possible anymore. Therefore, everytime I add a new book I just have to put it wherever it fits.
2 – Do you have a blogging schedule?
I try! Back in the Summer holidays, I’d manage to somewhat keep up with my blog and once a week I’d blog hop and schedule posts in advance. I didn’t have specific days, though. September is gonna be chaotic because I’m busy but don’t have a schedule yet, so I’m waiting for October to see if it’s possible!
3 – Share the favourite post written by you!
Recently I’ve shared places that inspired J. K. Rowling to write Harry Potter and I really enjoyed writing it 😀
4- If you had to choose only one book format (physical, e-book, audiobook) to read for the rest of your life. which one would you choose? Why?
Physical! Reading e-books is super easy and quick to access but I keep them on my phone (considering buying an e-reader) so I’m ruining my eyes and it messes up with my sleep. And besides, I love seeing my physical copies on my shelf!
5 – Did your book tastes change? Tell us about your reading journey!
I don’t think it changed, but rather that it solidified. When I was a little kid I would read mostly fairy tales and books about magical creatures (magic cats, fairies, …) so Fantasy, I would say. Then, in 5th grade, I started reading “The Twins at St. Clare’s” series, and in 7th grade I started reading more heavy books, historical fiction, … I was really interested in that. It was also around that time that I was introduced to Twilight, and after, to Divergent and The Hunger Games. And I created my bookstagram and lately, even though I try to read different books sometimes (classics, poetry, historical fiction,…) I always come back to Fantasy and Contemporary.
1 – What was your favourite childhood book?
2 – What’s the prettiest cover you’ve ever seen?
3 – Are you a fast or slow reader?
4 – If you had to choose between reading your favourite book over and over and over again and never other books OR never come across, and therefore never getting around to reading what is now your favourite book, what would you choose?
5 – What’s your advice regarding blogging?
